A Welcome to this year's Apprenticeships

August 29th saw Uniper’s Engineering Academy welcome a new cohort of Apprentices from businesses across the UK onto its new Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) Apprenticeship Standard.

Significant changes have been made this year to improve the quality of apprenticeships and the way in which funding is managed. The MOET Standard that we run is now on the highest funding band so employers will benefit from a large increase in funding that they can put towards the entirety of the programme.

Uniper have recruited six apprentices to the standard and they will be joined by fifteen apprentices from other businesses around country who will all train together at the Engineering Academy. We’re excited to see how everyone on the programme develops and grows into their specialisms over the coming years.
