About Us

WHAT IS EMAAN?

The East Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (EMAAN) is a group of employers, chaired by David Hughes, whose main aim is to spearhead the drive to engage new employers to commit to apprenticeship delivery in the East Midlands.

EMAAN is one of nine regional networks, supported  by the National Apprenticeships Service and a member of the national apprenticeship ambassador network.

EMAAN has around 50 members representing employers from a range of employment sectors across the East Midlands including the five local employer partnership areas (LEPS) of D2N2 LEP, Leicester and Leicestershire LEP, Lincoln and Lincolnshire LEP and SEMLEP.

OUR AIM

The aim of the EMAAN is to grow the Apprenticeships programme by engaging new employers through business to business engagement.

EMAAN members are charged with promoting all aspects of Apprenticeships, especially the developing areas of Traineeships, higher levels and new sectors.

EMAAN members are not charged with policy development as a network, though we will signpost EMAAN members when there are any relevant policy consultations.
